| Motorcycle events are enjoyed throughout the world. There exist a large number of motorcycle fans across the globe. It is very interesting to know the history of motorcycles. The manufacturing of motorcycle had been the prerogative of an Indian producer until World War First, making a production over 20,000 bikes per year. However, by 1920, Harley Davidson took away this honor from him. Today, the motorcycle industry has been controlled by the Japanese manufacturers, like, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki; yet, the popularity of Harley Davidson has not descended in the US. In that way, they help to raise money for charity. Motorcycle events are also held globally, attracting riders from all over the UK. Different types and styles of motorcycles have been manufactured till date and you can find number of motorcycles for sale being offered online. You can select your favorite from the motorcycle directory or the motorcycle classifieds. The different types vary according to the job assigned to them and for which they were created, such as sport and racing, long distance travel, cruising, urban traffic, or off-road conditions. At most of the places, the world over, motorcycles are considered to be the lowest in cost and most prevalent forms of motorized conveyance. South Dakota which has a population of just 5,000 holds the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, which is among the most well-known for rest of the year. Many of them make it a point to visit this beach during the Daytona Beach Bike Week. Likewise, Laconia Motorcycle Week is another week-long motorcycle event. Laconia Motorcycle Week is famous for its vintage races and shows, and is one of the oldest of the main motorcycle events.
